All Truck Engines New Fuel Nozzle Test Record Form SEHS8144 is available for dealers. The log sheet has room to record the test results for 16 fuel nozzles.
A filled out sample test form is shown in the illustration.
Illustration
1. No. 1 nozzle is a good nozzle and can be used again. 2. No. 2 nozzle failed the Cap/Drain Screw Leak test. Install new seals. Put the cap on the nozzle and test again. 3. No. 3 nozzle failed the "plugged hole" test. The test stops at that point.4. No. 4 nozzle failed the "tip leak" test. The test stops at that point.5. No. 5 nozzle failed the "VOP" test. The test stops at that point.6. No. 6 nozzle has a wire brushed tip. No other tests were performed after the "visual inspection". 7. Damaged tip of No. 7 nozzle. No other tests were performed after the "visual inspection". 8. No. 8 nozzle is a good nozzle to use again.
